News from the plot

Looking at the plot at the moment it resembles a patchwork of mud, so different to last years big freeze when the land was blanketed with snow. 

Pre-Christmas we planted fruit trees and bushes and we look forward to picking the berries and cherries in the summer. For now we can enjoy a good variety of English pears and apples and the seasonal citrus fruits we love.

We still have sprouts, cabbages & kale,(mild weather of late as kept the kale sprouting), accompanying the winter roots in your box. 

At this time of year we are planning our seed selection and layout of crops in the field.  Choosing what we are going to grow to fill the veg boxes does take some planning as we look for varieties of seed that suit our land and hopefully brings taste and quality to your table.
