This is a nominal amount to keep the box scheme running whilst inflation, fuel, utility and general running costs continue to rise by large percentages. We trust you believe that choosing to eat organic vegetables & fruit is worth every penny and we hope the service we provide only adds to the goodness of your organic box.
New Box prices will be:
Small - £8.90
Medium - £13.20
Large - £18.50
Family - £23.50
We have a variety of vegetable boxes to chose from, from small fruit boxes, to large family sized boxes.
We work with principles of honesty, integrity and simplicity, which are reflected in our boxes and our business.
We grow our own fruit and vegetables, and genuinely believe our boxes are full of fresh, good quality produce that is honestly priced. The veg also comes direct from a handful of small farms. We have built up excellent relationships with each of the growers, based in Hereford and the Wye Valley.
In the winter, greens like Swiss Chard, kale and cabbage will be alternated over the weeks, and leeks, calabrese, caulies, parsnips and and beets etc will feature regularly but not exhaustively.
In the summer you will enjoy lettuces and mixed salads, new potatoes, peas, beans, summer cabbages, and locally grown Mediterranean produce. Some fruits are sourced from further afield, but rest assured, they are never air-freighted.
The quantity of vegetables appearing in your weekly box is determined by price rather than weight, hence the summer boxes tend to weigh much less, as there are few roots and more leaves. This picture is reversed in the winter.
